Students travel to our Penrith venue from across the Nepean, including Penrith, St Marys, Kingswood, Emu Plains, Glenmore Park, Cranebrook, Jordan Springs, Blacktown, Richmond and Katoomba.
CPR (HLTAID009) is 1.5 hours, First Aid (HLTAID011) is 3 hours and Childcare First Aid (HLTAID012) is 3.5 hours. Each has a short online component you complete beforehand in your own time.
The same day you attend the practical session. Your statement of attainment is nationally recognised and valid Australia-wide.
Nationally recognised first aid certification is generally treated as current for three years, with an annual CPR refresher.
Yes. You need a Unique Student Identifier before a nationally recognised certificate can be issued. It is free at usi help and takes a few minutes.
Most workplaces ask for HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, which includes the CPR unit. Education and care settings generally need HLTAID012. If you only need a CPR refresher, HLTAID009 is the short option.
